Keira Knightley of "Bend It Like Beckham" fame thought she did not deserve to be at the Oscars party earlier this year because she had not been nominated for any award. According to contactmusic.com, the actress finds showbiz events intimidating and considers herself socially awkward.
She says: "Last year I went to the Vanity Fair party after the Oscars and I stood in the corner and had a lot of champagne.
"It's very, very scary. It's great for people who are nominated and maybe get the prizes, but it's pretty frightening. One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to become more sociable because I'm really bad at it."
